1.Roller gap setting
Adjust the gap between the upper and lower rollers through a pressing mechanism (hydraulic/screw pressing) to set the target rolling thickness; The rolling mill is driven by the main motor and reducer, and rotates at a constant speed in opposite directions: the upper rolling mill rotates downward, and the lower rolling mill rotates upward.
2.Bite into the billet
The billet is fed into the entrance side between two rolling mills. Friction is generated between the rotating roller surface and the billet, which pulls the workpiece into the roller gap. This process is called biting.
3.Plastic deformation (rolling core)
The billet enters the gap between the rollers and is subjected to the squeezing effect of two rollers, causing plastic deformation inside the metal:
